It makes the point that all inventions rise out of a desire to improve things or help people – a good place to start – and prompts us to look at things around us differently, to be curious and to stifle any critical voices that tell us our ideas are silly or impractical.  It’s full of examples of inventions created by children and the whole thing is refreshing, infectious and lots of fun. Let’s face it too, the future of our world relies on the imagination, ingenuity and creativity of the next generation so books like this are really important.
