Sarah J. Maas Press Reviews

Praise for the Throne of Glass series;

Part of the joy of a great fantasy series is the gradual discovery of the world, so carefully and lovingly constructed by the author. This series delivers that pleasure in spades ... If you're a YA high fantasy fan who hasn't yet dived into this series, this is a mistake that you must correct - Thoughts from the Hearthfire

Celaena balances between the living and the dead, humans and faeries, while her world creeps toward a dreadful war between the great and the monstrous. I was afraid to put the book down! ... Celaena is as much an epic hero as Frodo or Jon Snow! - bestselling author Tamora Pierce

Praise for Heir of Fire;

Wow. Just ... wow. So many things happened in this book. It took a completely different direction to anything I expected. It may be my favourite in the series yet - Planet Print

THE book of 2014 ... I laughed, I bawled my eyes out and I never wanted this to end. A story of family, love, friendship, loyalty and self-discovery, steeped in Maas's signature style, the plot will leave you reeling and breathless for more - Fiction in Fiction in Fiction

Magic and fantasy come right to the forefront and it is credit to Maas that she can create not one kingdom but two that are so vividly described, so rich with detail and character plots - Words Are the Key to Your Soul

Heir of Fire is without doubt my favourite book of this series so far. With dragons and witches, fae and magic, fire and love, betrayal and loyalty, Sarah J. Maas has given me everything I could want in a fantasy novel. This series just gets better and better - Jess Hearts Books

I didn't think anything could surpass Crown of Midnight, but this was a sensational addition to the series and is definitely one of the best fantasy stories I've ever read - Little Birdie Books

Praise for Crown of Midnight;

Enthralling and well paced, exhilarating and wonderfully written - Realm of Fiction

Praise for Throne of Glass;

Packed with brilliant, intelligent and witty characters, corrupted rulers, dark and good magic alike. The world-building is incredible, and the plot promises something even greater from the sequel ... This is not one to be missed - Pen to Paper
