"Brilliantly funny cartoon style adventure"
Imagine you were enjoying a day at the funfair when a never-before-uttered magical phrase was uttered at the exact moment a super out-of-date jar of hotdogs was opened, a butterfly farted and an electrical storm broke, thereby magically turning you into something else.
That’s what happens to our band of heroes who become a spewnicorn (rainbow vomiting unicorn), super cool seal, highly intelligent bird, and a bathtub. The magician is caught up in it all too, and becomes a koala. Together they must sail the oceans and face bizarre creatures, weird islands and mysterious tasks in a quest to find the magician’s missing wand and get back home.
It’s hard to describe just how funny this is: set-up, characters, running jokes (literally a running boy), visual gags and some delicious meta-fictive wisecracks, make it an absolute hoot, and a darn good story besides. Climb into Tubbs the bathtub and join in the fun, and let’s hope it takes them ages to find the missing wand.

A very funny book with some weird and wonderful creatures.
A really funny and silly book, kept us laughing all the way through. We loved all the pictures and how it was a comic book style. It has some weird and wonderful creatures and our favourite is spewnicorn. Spewnicorn and all the others go on a strange adventure to find a missing wand and they meet lots of animals along the way, some even stranger than themselves.... Read Full Review
