The Black Stallion

The Black Stallion Synopsis

Discover all the adventure, thrills, and tenderness of the beloved classic that introduced the world to "the most famous fictional horse of the century" (The New York Times).

"There was no place to seek cover. Here was the wildest of all wild animals."

When a storm leaves Alec Ramsay shipwrecked on a desert island, he's not sure how he'll survive. But he's not alone. A beautiful-and savage-black horse is his one companion. Their survival just might depend on each other. But can Alec trust a stallion whose beauty matches his wild spirit?

This first story of the Black Stallion is as exciting and suspenseful today as it was when it debuted. Walter Farley's timeless novel set the pace for horse stories . . . and continues to leave its rivals in the dust.
