Cat in Search of a Friend Synopsis

Cat is sad that she has no-one to call her friend. She meets many animals from little monkeys to big cats, from rhinos to gigantic elephants. She thinks the bigger the animal the better the friend until she meets a man - a powerful hunter who carries a gun and whom Cat decides will be her master. When she discovers that the man can be scolded and chased by his wife and that his wife in turn is scared of a mouse , Cat realises that ultimately no one is stronger than herself and that she is her own master. Ages 3-5. Full colour
