Dog Poo on the Pram Wheels: welcome to just one of the daily tribulations faced by new parents that no-one ever warned you about! Penny Attiwill's witty commentary defines with heartfelt warmth - and a twinkle in the eye - the thoughts and daily events which will bring a smile of recognition to any new mother's face. Cleverly illustrated in 1950s satirical style, the book takes a humorous look at those days in a new mother's life that are both challenging and utterly exhausting.
But, as Attiwill concludes, when you kiss a peacefully sleeping baby goodnight 'you wouldn t give up motherhood for the world'.
