Shaped Synopsis

Take a seat in God's classroom. He is standing before you, ready to teach lifelong lessons and administer life-changing tests. Open your book, your mind, and your heart. "SHAPED: 24 Lessons for Allowing God to Build Your Character" guides Christian teens from Grades 7 to 12 to an understanding of God's incredible plan for their lives. Styled like a workbook, "SHAPED" includes stories, vocabulary, assignments, checklists, and equations, all based on lessons taught by our greatest teacher-God. Each lesson authentically strives to build their character, influence their spirit, and change their heart as they experience the course of Life. The ultimate goal is for teens to be shaped by each assignment that God gives. Every lesson discusses a character trait that God wants the readers to possess, and each lesson has three parts: 1) What You May Already Know, 2) What You Must Understand, and 3) What God Wants You to Do. At the end of the book, a pentomino puzzle is included to show how all the qualities fit together. Through these lessons, teens will learn the meaning of "showing their work" as they face problems in life and how to successfully pass the true tests with preparation from Christ.
