During the summer recess, he has generally travelled through some parts of England, giving an Entertainment in some respects similar to Bannis ter's Budget - but latterly, entitled, mail coach adventures, and from experience, Mr. Mathews became wiser, and found that an audience could receive his exertions for one night with as much satisfaction as if he had been a whole company still he kept to the country, and never entertained the idea of trying his fortune in that way with a London Audience.
