At the meadowed edge of a marvelous forest from which, through a placid pond, flows a stream, curious animals and birds discover together some of the delights of creation. These animals, all distinct in personality, enjoy a lively community, and in their conversations they reflect on the mysteries and meaning of the wonderful environment in which they live.
