Angela Bucklaschuk is a freelance writer and poet. Born and raised on a farm outside the small town of Shoal Lake, Manitoba she developed a passion for animals and writing at an early age. In her spare time she enjoys photography, camping, and spending time with her five horses and one pony. Currently living in Lethbridge, Alberta, she runs Saddle It Up, her western tack and saddle shop since 2014. Rocky, her cherished pet, among many other dogs, is an inspiration for her stories. She is happy to announce her new series, My Pony and Me, with the first book titled A Pony for Me! Angela is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
