A Blessing for Autumn's Child

A Blessing for Autumn's Child Synopsis

In this beautiful picture book, lyrical poetry pronounces a loving blessing upon Autumn's Child. Autumn's Child is as bright as the changing leaves, playful as the crackling fire, and sweet like purest cinnamon. Adorable watercolor paintings of frosty nights and bundled animals beautifully accompany heartfelt blessings and promises.

Dearest child of autumn, may the bounty of your season always live within you. May each day be as rich as the farmer's harvest, as warm as baking pumpkin, and as sweet as the first of autumn's apples. May the autumn wind be ever at your back, the sun warm upon your face, and the leaves soft beneath your feet..

For you, child of autumn, are all that is good, all that is bright, all that is beautiful in this blessed time of year. And that makes you special, indeed. A sweet, moving tribute to children born during the autumn months, A Blessing for Autumn's Child is a beautiful baby shower or birthday treasure for young children.
