About

Billy Potts and the Donkey and Other Stories Synopsis

Billy Potts is a small boy, about six years old, living in England just after the end of World War II. He is bright, not really naughty, but he tends to take things literally with unpredictable results! "Billy Potts and the Donkey" was originally written at the request of a local church for their Christmas Parish Magazine. Billy seemed so real that the author decided to follow him wherever he took him. This book is the result! These stories are mainly intended to be read by parents and grandparents to their children, although they are suitable for children to read for themselves. They are not autobiographical, although certain incidents in the author's childhood have been used as a basis for some of the story lines. Barry Soden is a retired Civil Engineer and scientist. He lives in Eastbourne, Sussex.
