October 2022 Debut of the Month

‘My name is Stina and I’m probably going to die soon.’ So opens Eva Frantz’s chilling gothic mystery. With her health deteriorating, little Stina is sent to the remote Raspberry Hill Sanatorium, a place that offers luxuries she’s never known, all welcome after the hardships at home.

It’s lonely though, so Stina is pleased to meet Ruben another young patient, who shows her round the spooky old building at night. The more she finds out, the more Stina becomes aware that something’s not right at Raspberry Hill. As she recovers from her TB, is she facing another deadly threat?

Ghost story, thriller and mystery, and with an indomitable, straight-talking heroine, this is a satisfying and exciting read for wintery nights.
