What happens if a plant can't access sunshine? Do the roots of plants actively "search" for water? Can a plant grow if the soil around it contains no nutrients?

And what happens to seedlings if they are forced into a battle for survival against others of their kind? By growing their own plants and then carrying out a series of fun and innovative experiments, students will investigate photosynthesis, transpiration, pollination, seed dispersal, and much more. They will also get the chance to use scientific equipment and to build and practice their science vocabulary.
