Knot and Albert are two special bears who, while their child owners sleep at night, slip "Outside" and together enjoy many wonderful adventures!  

In this enchanting collection of 5-minute stories for 4 - 9 year olds, Knot and Albert experience everything the "Outside" has to offer, including the amiable Knot's first trip out of the house, first snow, star-gazing at the constellations, and meeting up with friends such as Voley and his family who run the Garden Canteen serving hedgerow recipes, the highly trained team of medical moles, the Night Injury Ninja Association, who are rarely seen but run the hospital in the hill, and the newts who are full of attitude and run the racket on the East Side.
