A heartwarming story, inspired by real-life research, following two female albatrosses as they become parents.
Palila loves to fly above the ocean's waves. Anuenue loves to dance. When they meet, the two albatrosses know there's no one else they'd want to become a parent with.
Based on the true story of the same-sex Laysan Albatross couples of O'ahu, Hawaii, this picture book celebrates the unique relationship between two birds as they take their first steps into parenthood.
With illustrations by Hawaiian artist Kimberlie Clinthorne-Wong this charming story explores themes of love, pride and family.
