The Mystery Rooms Synopsis

The Mystery Rooms is an interactive adventure that combines cosy crime with trendy 3D scenes (or 'isometric' rooms).

The book is split into six chapters, each one focusing on a self-contained cosy crime - for example, a case involving spoiled cinnamon buns or the disappearance of a film star.

To solve each crime, the reader must study three 3D scenes. Each scene contains evidence and clues that relate to the mystery. The reader is prompted to use their sleuthing skills to find visual clues and pieces of evidence within each scene. They are also aided by witness statements that accompany the scene.

By examining the clues, intriguing details and visual hints across the three scenes, the reader is able to piece together what has happened and unravel the mystery. At the end of each chapter, a summary page invites the reader to pool their evidence together and decide who is the culprit! Each chapter consists of an opening page, 3 spreads featuring 3D scenes and a concluding page.

Illustrated in a delightfully cute style, the isometric scenes are populated with an adorable cast of animal characters. The six cases are:
