Ida and Hubert the Cloud Hopper

Ida and Hubert the Cloud Hopper Synopsis

In Ida & Hubert the Cloud Hopper, Ida’s story continues—this time on earth. She meets Hubert, an industrious and inventive squirrel determined to reach the clouds. Together, with help from silkworms who stitch a leaf rug and birds who guide the way, imagination becomes action.

This second book expands Ida’s world into a gentle adventure about collaboration, creativity, and believing in ideas that seem impossible at first glance. Where the first book focuses on reflection and shared stillness, Ida & Hubert the Cloud Hopper celebrates making, building, and trying— without losing the wonder. At its heart, the story reminds readers that being yourself, staying curious, and trusting your imagination can transform the extraordinary into something real—and joyful for everyone.
