'Eddie, the World's Greatest Creature' written by Kayleigh Mackie and charmingly and colourfully illustrated by Fx and Color Studio is a delightful rhyming picture book for children aged two to seven with a serious life message. In it, Eddie tells his dog, Kenny, that he would like to combine the best features from the animal world, such as a dolphin's tail and an eagle's wings, to make himself into the greatest creature on earth.
However, when he imagines how this combination would work out in practice he soon realises that every creature is made the way it is to fit it's own specific circumstances. The reader, hopefully, will learn the important life lesson that no-one can be good at everything and you should concentrate on being the best 'you' that you can be.
