The Lovereading4Kids comment

Lauren Child’s trademark witty illustrations introduce different shapes that children will come across. Some are formal, recognised shapes such as the oval of an egg or the heart shape of a butterfly; some are humorous such as the fiddly shapes of snowflakes and the flowery shapes on a dress. Each spread is a delight.
