Frogs Leo and Gus find some sticks. They hop over the sticks then cool off in the pond. Bev, a beaver, takes the sticks. Leo and Gus are mad. Bev chews the sticks to make more. She keeps some sticks and gives some to Leo and Gus.
Tadpole and Fish were best friends. They swam together every day. Tadpole started to change. Tadpole was worried that he and Fish would no longer be friends, but Fish reassured Tadpole that he was still the same on the inside.
Town Mouse visits her friend Country Mouse. Town Mouse finds that she likes her own home best. Then Country Mouse visits Town Mouse. Town Mouse finds that she likes her own home best. Town Mouse and Country Mouse decide they can still be friends despite being different.
Little Red Hen tries to get help from her friends to plant wheat for making bread. None of Little Red Hen's friends wants to help. When it comes time to eat the bread she baked, all her friends want to help her eat it. Little Red Hen eats the bread alone, saying the bread is only for her and her helpers.
