Aesop's Fables

Aesop’s Fables are timeless and entertaining stories and anecdotes meant to impart wisdom and guidance to readers of all ages. Written by Aesop in ancient Greece, these fables began as stories told from person to person, generation to generation. Hundreds of fables have been attributed to Aesop, and his stories are still told to impart wisdom today. Among the well-known fables included in this collection are “The Hare and the Tortoise,” “The Ants and the Grasshopper,” and “The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse,” presented among hundreds of other fables. Told simply and quickly, each fable is a bite-sized lesson perfectly suited for children and adults alike.
