En ¿qué me cuentas don Quijote? abundan los personajes más increíbles: magos, gigantes, princesas cautivas y perversos hechiceros. Algo similar serían las aventuras de los famosos superhéroes de hoy. De este modo si en la actualidad un imitador de Cervantes quisiera escribir un Quijote, quizá haría que su personaje se creyera BBatman o el hombre araña, provisto de super poderes y saliera a un eje vial en busca de enemigos, confundiendo a la Torre Mayor con un maléfico gigante. Sería éste un cuento indudablemente gracioso, como lo es también El Quijote, aunque de pronto nos provoque una lágrima.
