The Miraculous Medal: The Story of Our Lady's Appearance to Saint Catherine Labouré
'Sister, it couldn't have happened! It was all a dream, like the other time,' the priest declared. But Sister Catherine was sure she had truly seen Our Lady…and then Our Lady appeared to her again! Would the priest ever believe her? Would he ever have the Medals made as Our Lady had asked? This wonderful story captures what happened when the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to St. Catherine Laboure and the beginning of the Miraculous Medal. Mary Fabyan Windeatt was known as “the storyteller of the saints.” In the 1950s and 60s, she wrote over twenty historical fiction novels on the saints, bringing to life these holy men and women for young readers across the world. By artistically rendering familiar stories, the Windeatt books help readers see that the saints are real people whom we can emulate. A Historical Research on the Lives of the 12 Shia Imams
After the demise of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Muslims were divided regarding whom they should follow as their political and religious leader. The Sunnis followed the Prophet’s companions whilst the Shias followed the 12 Holy Imams chosen by God. The Shia Imams were from the lineage of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from his only surviving daughter, Lady Fatimah (SA). Successive Shia Imams lived amongst the Muslims for generations and guided them to the true Islamic teachings of the Prophet. All of the Shia Imams were respected by the Muslims for their spirituality, divine knowledge, and being the progeny of the Prophet. The Imams were a symbol of resistance against the injustice and oppression of the Umayyads and the Abbasids. As a result, the Imams endured many calamities and hardships. They were harassed, imprisoned, and martyred by the Umayyad and the Abbasid caliphs. “Let the man who would hear God speak, read Holy Scripture.” ~Dr. Martin Luther The beginning of the Holiday season in the US is marked by a pagan party on the last day of October known as Halloween. In recent years, this day has grown in popularity. In fact, a quick tour of any local neighborhood will reveal yard decorations of a scope and complexity bigger and more widespread than ever before. It quite literally rivals Christmastime now. Many knowingly embrace Halloween’s demonic foundations. But, the vast majority (including many professing Christians) simply dismiss it as “harmless fun”, dedicated to dressing up and eating candy. The whole demonic part is really not to be taken all that seriously. So, what’s a Bible-believer to do at this time of year? Well, we could head out to the garage and just dust off the Nativity scene early. In fact, that may not be such a bad idea. But if we as Christians want to celebrate a specific event other than Halloween on October 31st, then Martin Luther’s nailing of his 95 Theses onto the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, in 1517 is as good an alternative event as any. Because that event sparked one of the biggest revivals of a love for God’s Word in history, and October 31st is recorded as the actual day it took place. Hallelujah! What better example of how God works! To that end, we’ve decided to help fan the flame of that alternative celebration with this recording of Luther’s 95 Theses in English. Study them in your homeschool, your small group, your classroom or just listen in the car by yourself, with family or friends. And begin your Holiday season a little differently this year. Five Talents Audio shares Martin Luther’s love of God’s Word and it is our hope that both his and ours shine through in this recording, and that it helps bring you peace with God and peace with this fallen world, just as Jesus promised. Blessings today and love to all.

The Dag Gadol: Jonah and the Whale
This audiobook is narrated by a digital voice. There were earlier civilizations that experienced and lived destinies. They understood the destinies and lived it. That you have neither read nor understand them does not amount to their nonexistence. They existed. Though reasonable people understand that hearsay testimonies are worthless, some Holy Book believers have used the New Testament reference to Jonah, a hearsay, as evidence that a whale, they mistakenly defined as a “fish,” swallowed up an adult human being. Perhaps you’ve heard of the movie Jaws. This was no movie. Some say it was/is a myth. Incontrovertible science evidence says anyone in the belly of a whale would suffocate to death for lack of oxygen. A whale swallowed a human; can you see the anthropomorphism? Anthropomorphism and zoomorphism were some of the best methods to paint or represent an unknown object of discussion. It was the best vocabulary available to them at that time. A submarine scooping a human is akin to a whale that swallowed Jonah. Perhaps our perception of the past is not what it should be. Perhaps our perceptive truth of the past is jaundiced. Perhaps our knowledge of the past has been erroneously prioritized by the academics. Why would the academics do this? Remember that he who pays the piper dictates the tune. Obviously, we have been conditioned by the academics to accept that our civilization is better than earlier civilizations, therefore making it hard even to contemplate that there could have been better technologies in submarines before today. We are conditioned to totally accept that we are the center of the universe and the supreme beings of living things.
