Dr Marc Abraham OBE is a veterinary surgeon, broadcaster, author, and leading animal welfare campaigner. He lobbies extensively for animal welfare issues in the UK and worldwide, volunteers for numerous animal welfare organisations, and is also proud ambassador and/or patron of a number of animal charities. He appears on TV shows including BBC Breakfast and Sky News, and recently released the new movie documentary ‘Dogspiracy’. Marc regularly visits local schools to chat with pupils about caring for animals and looking out for each other. He was awarded the OBE in 2021 for services to animal welfare by His Royal Highness King Charles III.
Marc is the author of four ‘grown-up’ books: Vet on Call, Pets in Need, Lucy’s Law, and most recently Be More Mosquito. Leon’s Reef is his first children’s picture book, exploring not just the wonders of ocean life, and the threats our oceans face, but kindness, empathy and inclusion as well as respect for nature.
