Brett Chaney is a stonemason by trade who has done a lot of travelling, among other things. He was initiated as a Shaman in the Amazon, worked as a diver in Corfu and crossed the Sahara on a motorbike. He was born in England but currently resides in Australia and has added some indigenous remedies to the knowledge he gained while acquiring his degree in Herbal Medicine. Whilst traveling in 1992, Brett started writing. This culminated in the professor Bongo stories.
