Richard Thomas Carey is the author of Felix Finds his Fortune, and other children's stories. They usually cover everyday situations, such as loneliness, bullying, and dementia, helping children to understand and cope with these everyday things. Having lived and worked in Australia, Canada, and England as an actor, Richard can be seen in the occasional pantomime, usually playing the comic. Richard also has over eighteen years experience of working in health and social care, supporting vulnerable children and adults with learning disabilities. Now living back in the UK, Richard hopes to spread a little innocence, and a touch of magic with his stories.
