Morningstar

Morningstar Synopsis

The Black Temple is known as a place of beauty and sacrifice.

Only a handful of girls are chosen each year to be raised within its ancient walls.

They are reared for one purpose only; to die.

Aiya is to be sacrificed by The Temple as part of a ritual offering on her eighteenth birthday. She has always known that she was marked for death, but as the fateful day approaches, Aiya regrets the fact that she never got the chance to truly live… That is, until unexpected events rock the Black Temple to its core and Aiya seizes her chance for escape.

With two young men by her side—both brave, both willing to fight beside her to the death and both vying for her heart — Aiya must find a way to reconcile herself to a new, far greater destiny. What starts out as one girl’s bid for freedom soon transforms into a battle for the very heart of a nation.

Morningstar is a deeply immersive, page-turning novel of romance and adventure, risk and passion that asks an eternal question: Just how far would you go for love?
