Katana Sandan - The Code of Bodhidharma

Katana Sandan - The Code of Bodhidharma Synopsis

The third installment in a coming-of-age YA urban fantasy series set at a magical martial-arts boarding school. An assassin on the loose, a school with an uncomfortable history, and a heroine whose growing power draws the wrong kind of attention.

An Assassin Stalks The Arashi. A School Hides Its History. A Student Grows Too Strong.

At the Hall of the Dragon, a boarding school where martial arts and magic are one discipline, Katana's talent has begun to attract scrutiny. Visiting headmasters watch her spar. Questions follow her through the corridors. Power like hers isn't supposed to appear in a student.

Then an assassin starts hunting the Arashi, and episodes from the Hall's own past begin to resurface. The further Katana trains, the more the old certainties crack: about her school, her teachers, and the war she was recruited into.

When she unearths the truth the Hall has guarded longest, Katana faces a question no master can answer for her. Can she defeat a monster without becoming one?

Katana Sandan is the third book in the Katana Series, a YA urban fantasy, for readers who love magical boarding schools, martial-arts magic, morally tested heroines and slow-burn mysteries. Perfect for fans of Cassandra Clare, Kelley Armstrong and Rick Riordan.
