Skylar Synopsis

Skylar is a high school girl suffering from past tragedies. Her responsibilities and her grief keep her from moving forward in life, until two new people come to town and change everything. Skylar quickly befriends Trey and Victoria, but the closer she gets to them, the more secrets she realizes they're keeping. Tristan and Daevonny have escaped their war-torn country and are in hiding in America. It is imperative that they keep their identities a secret, but it's harder to blend in than they thought. Tristan is duty-bound to serve and protect Dev and has spent his life preparing for this future. Tristan has never questioned his place in the world, until now. Told from both Skylar and Tristan's point of view, Skylar is the story of love and loss and the effect it has on us. It tells of the bonds of friendship and the strength of growing together, and when faced with the hardships of life, the bravery that can be found in all of us.
