Nature's Nasties

Nature's Nasties Synopsis

There are some rather nasty creatures and plants in nature. But are they really as nasty as they at first seem? Join Morgan the Donkey and his friends as they discuss some of Nature's Nasties that appear during spring and summer in the United Kingdom.

From the stinging of jellyfish and nettles to the spitting of water shrews to the bite of a pike or an adder, these animals and plants cause a menace to anyone that encounters them. Surely, though, they must have a good side, otherwise Nature simply wouldn't put up with them. Are Meggie Mouse and Millie the Moorhen, who is always on her own, in grave danger from Nature's Nasties?

Will Phil Pheasant offer an opinion or is he simply too lazy? Is the Nasties' behaviour serious enough for Wilberforce Weasel, the master spy, to investigate? Or are the Trio of Rabbits right when they insist that Sir Oswald Owl will have all the answers?

One thing is for sure: after reading this entertaining collection of stories, you will never look at Nature's Nasties in quite the same way again.
