Stunning illustrations show the most arresting features of all sorts of animals – the pointy teeth of a crocodile and the long curving neck of a flamingo – all of which are fitted together to create a wonderful invented creature. Young readers will enjoy the mismatch of animal parts and the humour of the strange hybrid creation.
Lovereading comment:
This is a truly, truly gorgeous picture book. Fun and stylish it’s the story of a very strange creature. Is it a pig, a toucan or a crocodile? Uncover the mystery creature by following Alexandra Milton’s stunning collage and Giles Milton’s humorous text. It’s a real feast for the eyes and a puzzle for the mind of both parent and child. Gorgeous!
