Aldrin Adams and the Cheese Nightmares

The highlight of this book would be the cheesy cheese jokes and the illustrations by Lee Cosgrove. I think it would be suitable for 6–7-year-olds.

This book had a big introduction, a long build up and then for me no climax just an ending. The highlight of this book would be the cheesy cheese jokes and the illustrations by Lee Cosgrove. I think it would be suitable for 6–7-year-olds. I liked the character of Silas because he is a frog and I like frogs. There was barely a page that did not have the word cheese or a type of cheese on it so I would not recommend reading if you do not like cheese. It leaves a lot of questions to be answered. For a taster I would advise reading page 119. I checked on my calculator and all the sums are correct.

Aldrin Adams and the Cheese Nightmares is a exquisite book for 6-40 aged people. It has a lot of comedy in it that includes the cheese jokes and funny characters. There are lots of side stories with Aldrin in. He is a brave character in the story especially as his mum has died. Aldrin Adams has quite a lot of problems at school, at home and in people nightmares…but he can stop them because he is not scared of anyone who stands in his way. My highlight of the story was Sisley, she is very smart but also quite moody. It is an amazing book which made me laugh a lot.

The plot's bonkers and the jokes are very silly! I really enjoyed it.

11-year-old Aldrin Adams is amazed to discover he has a surprising ability: he can enter other peoples' dreams! Unfortunately, the immortal arch-villain Habeas Grusselvart has a sinister plan to create and control nightmares by owning all the cheese in the world - and Aldrin needs to stop him.
The plot may sound a bit bonkers - but that's because it is! It does get pretty tense at times too, though. I enjoyed it a lot, because it is very funny with lots of silly jokes - and a very exciting ending. I would award it 9/10 stars.
