This book will leave you wanting to not stop reading it until it’s finished. It is a brilliant book with so many laughing moments and so easy for children to read alone or together. It’s clear and the picture illustrations are brilliant. I really enjoyed this book.
Evie throughly enjoyed this book from the moment she picked it up she couldn’t leave it until she read it all. The pictures make a great talking point as Evie would discuss the pictures. It was clear, the words easy to read and Evie chuckled and laughed throughout the book. Evie enjoyed the pages where Pizza and Taco would brainstorm their ideas and it was all picture based.
So chaotic and so fun! A great addition to reading for pleasure spaces in both school and home libraries.

As one child I read with said, 'I love these books because they are SO chaotic and SO fun!'. The illustrations are funny and clever as they use real images of the food, along with character faces. Would give this book 5 stars and looking forward to reading over and over along with the other books that the author has created.

I liked this fun and colourful book. Only 59 pages long. Pizza and Taco trying to make a band and getting more bandmates to join. Using a toy guitar and a tambourine as their instruments is funny. I did have to ask my mum about the references to other bands and who they were though, I don't think many kids would know who they were. I think my little brother would like this book also.

My favourite characters are Pizza, Taco, Muffin and Cookie.
Muffin and Cookie like to rock. Pizza also likes to rock, but Taco does not.
It's really funny when they say "think think think"!
The ending is really confusing, I would like to see what happens next!
I would recommend it to someone who is interested in food and music.

This title is amusing, fun and engaging in every detail.
Drawings-bright, sharp colours, idea of the story-foodies are practically everywhere-cartoons, colour ins, main characters all adds up to an easy read story for those who struggle to engage in reading or are reluctant to grab a book. I have read it in a blink of an eye and I am curious of what other titles in series are like. It is a fast read but surely for young readers it will be tons of fun as comics are the latest hit among children. A book that will be reread a lot. Language used is also something that will appeal to the young readers, phones, having favourite band-very much nowadays. Who doesn't like pizza or taco? It would be hard to choose your favourite especially since they are good friends and have lots of fun together. Yaaaasss!
An awesome short comic book great for younger children
Pizza and Taco Rock Out is hilarious. It's short enough to read all in one go. The words are mostly easy for little kids who might find the harder words in some other comic books tricky. So if the difficult words in books like Dogman or Bunny vs Monkey put you off reading to yourself, this series is good to read instead.
I enjoyed spotting all the different food characters. The funny band names, which are puns of real bands, are clever, like The Beetles (made up of Beetroots!) instead of The Beatles. I loved Taco's cute little tamborine and how Pizza and Taco laugh at themselves and just have fun with their band instead of taking themselves too seriously like some of the other foods who tried out to be in the band.
When we finished this book I asked my parents for the first four books in the series and I can't wait to take them to school to show my friends who all love comic books too.
