The Lovereading4Kids comment

Grammar and the teaching of it is exercising all sorts of people in all sorts of ways at the moment but never can it have been made so accessible, so appealing or so much fun as in this ingenious and attractive novelty picture book. Each page is a delight to look at with bright, jolly illustrations, but they also feature wheels, flaps, levers, pull-tabs and more, all cleverly devised so as to demonstrate to young readers what nouns, verbs, adjectives, conjunctions etc. are for and do. By making grammar fun and friendly, its rules will be absorbed by readers almost without them noticing. It’s great to see this classic reissued for today’s generation of learners. ~ Andrea Reece

The Great Grammar Book by Kate Petty

A brilliantly interactive book from award-winning illustrator Jennie Maizels that makes learning grammar fun! Turn the wheels, lift the flaps and pull the tabs to learn all about nouns, punctuation and sentences. Play heads bodies and legs to find out about adjectives, look in the mirror to discover what a pronoun is, and take a dog for a walk as he explains prepositions!

Totally brilliant book (along with its sister Terrific Times Tables) making learning grammar fun, with flaps and other clever interactive devices. angels & urchins
