Gill Stewart was born in England but has lived in South Africa, France and Zimbabwe. Now a full-time writer, she lives in Scotland overlooking the beautiful west coast which inspires the settings in her stories. She is a longstanding member of The Romantic Novelists' Association and The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. The first book in her Galloway Girls series, Lily's Just Fine, has been nominated for the People's Book Prize 2020 summer award.
