Mark McKinley rediscovered a childhood love of drawing while living in Spain and realized his favourite thing to do is to make up silly stories and draw pigs robbing banks. He swiftly returned to England where he began studying Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art.
His first picture book The Viking who Liked Icing was shortlisted for the prestigious Waterstones Children’s Book Prize. #
