Yasmin was born and bred in Luton, Bedfordshire, having completed her B.Sc. Hons in Computer and Internet Applications, she has worked as a Curriculum Administrator at a further education college. Currently, Yasmin suffers from a chronic neurological disorder, she is a single parent to two beautiful girls, who she has been inspired by, to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a children's author. She has named the main characters in her book after her own two children. Adventures of Zara and Jannat: Back in Bangladesh is Yasmin's third book in the series.
