Tiger was an ordinary cat until he licked a toxic sock under James’s bed – now he is Supercat! While James and Supercat are at the funfair, all the grown-ups mysteriously disappear. They suspect Count Backwards and follow him. Can they rescue the grown-ups and avoid being caught? Full of fun, laughter and slapstick comedy, this is a delightful read. (Ages 8–10)

About Jeanne Willis

Jeanne Willis is an award-winning children's author and scriptwriter. She had her first picture book published by Andersen Press at the age of 21, and since then she has won the Silver Medal Smarties Prize (Tadpole's Promise), the Nasen Special Needs Award (Susan Laughs), the Sheffield Children's Book Award (Who’s in The Loo) and the Red House Children's Book Award (Bottoms Up).
