‘Revenge of Queen Rose’ by Valinora Troy follows on from the first book in the series ‘The Lucky Diamond’ and I would recommend beginning the adventure by reading the first book. It’s a few weeks after the siblings defeated the evil witch Queen Rose and she was banished from the Diamond land of Nivram. Now, a strange spell is cast, locking the diamonds in The Rock of Diamonds, and Susan and Vicky have vanished along with the magical gifts they received from their parents before they died. The search is on to find out what has happened, to free everyone and find their sisters, and to see who is behind it all.
This is a great new addition to the series, we follow Vicky and Susan after their disappearance and the twins Cathy and Alan as they head to strange new lands to ask for help in breaking the magic and find their sisters. We meet new friends as well as old on this adventure that comes to a dramatic conclusion and sets up for more books and adventures to come.
