Adventurous and full of puzzles which you don't often get in a book. 5/5!
The whole concept of the book is very different to any others that we have read.
Breaking up the story with puzzles and riddles in order to solve the mysteries was such a very clever way of keeping it interesting. It reminded me of Zelda- but without the screentime!
It was a book that we read together (7 year old and 5 year old) and then worked together to work out the answers. Every evening they were very excited to get together and find out what was going to happen to Pandora next.

Pandora is a brave, adventurous girl, on a mission to find her parents in Puzzlevale. Pandora’s journey is full of interesting characters and challenging puzzles. This story will resonate with adventurous, kind, puzzle-loving children, like Pandora.
Pandora is a brave, adventurous girl, on a mission to find her parents in Puzzlevale. With only her puzzle book ‘Detective Crow’, Pandora sets off to find her Mum and Dad. Unexpectedly, ‘Detective Crow’ starts interacting with Pandora to help her on mini missions. Puzzlevale is dark and creepy. At times I felt scared to read on.
Pandora meets many characters on her journey and has to solve many puzzles to move forward in the search for her parents. The puzzles can be challenging. Sometimes I needed help.
Pandora is just like me. Happy, adventurous and kind, except when tired and meeting rude receptionists. I still have some practice to do to become as observant as Pandora, she uncovers the tiniest of clues!
This is a large book, it will keep you puzzling for some time.... Read Full Review
