As they learn to understand what whales eat, what they like and don't like, we see how important it is for pets to be understood and what being a good pet owner entails.

This is another adorable book in this picture book series from Sam Wilde and Sarah Horne and like How to Feed an Elephant, How to Bath a Giraffe and How to Cuddle a Crocodile, it's a great addition to your bookshelf for young animal lovers. With lots of facts about blue whales, it's an education too. Did you know that the heart of a whale is about the size of a small car? Wow!

I'm not sure I want a whale as my pet after all, no matter how cool they are, but I do want a Granny like hers.
