Packed full of cartoons, maps and mugshots, there is an enticing energy to every page that creates an exciting sense of urgency. Whilst skilful use of second person narrative, places the reader right inside the story – generating a thrilling level of reader agency that young readers will love.

The construction of the story is impressively controlled, I got a headache just thinking about the amount of post-it notes presumably needed to keep track of all the plot possibilities! And this format makes the book a great option for gamers, graphic novel enthusiasts and young readers who claim to find reading boring. The fast-pace and demands to constantly keep making decision means there is no chance of boredom creeping in here.

With a huge variety of different stories and endings, this a book that young readers will enjoy re-reading over and over again.
