Mission number seven in the brilliantly horror-rich Zom-B series in which the dead have taken over the world. The undead, whether they are a revitalised or a revived, are being hacked down and killed everywhere. B Smith sets off on a desperate mission into the zombie-infested suburbs. Is there any chance he and his team can survive? The odds against them are heavy and the situation is desperate as they fight their way against the terrible enemy.
What has happened to the world since the dead took over? Where have the humans gone to hide? Who do the living most have to fear? B Smith is heading for unknown territory...Leading a group of humans through London and out into zombie-infested suburbs sounds like suicide - but not for the undead! Even so, the horrors of the journey will be beyond anything B has yet seen...
'Do not underestimate the dangers of this mission. Other zombies will not ignore you when they catch the scent of fresh brains. You will almost surely be called upon to fight. The city and countryside are full of angry, bitter people who are trying to execute as many of the undead as they can. They will not distinguish between a revitalised and a revived. Most do not know there is a difference. And most would not care.'

Although he is Irish he was actually born at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London -- directly across the river from the Houses of Parliament in Westminster (which may explain his fascination with evil bloodsuckers ...). He lived in SouthEast London until the age of six, when he moved to Limerick in Ireland, with his parents and younger brother, and has lived there ever since (but he never lost his London accent!). He later returned to London to study Sociology and English at Roehampton University. He then worked for a cable television company in Limerick ...More About Darren Shan
