This audio collection includes charming performances of nine favorite Kevin Henkes favorites.
The titles include: Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse; Lilly's Big Day; Wemberly Worried; A Weekend with Wendell; Sheila Rae, the Brave; Chester's Way; Julius, the Baby of the World, Chrysanthemum, and Owen,
The performers are beloved actors Richard Thomas and Christine Ebersole. As School Library Journal noted: "Thomas reads three of the picture books in a warm baritone voice, using vocal inflections flawlessly. Ebersole's crisp enunciation is perfect and her vocal intonations are on-target as she reads six titles. Opening and closing credits are delivered with jazzy music playing in the background."
