The adventure continues for fans of Vanya and the Wild Hunt by bestselling Sangu Mandanna - with neurodivergent rep, fabulous twists and turns and a world inspired by Indian mythology and British folklore, plus gorgeous line illustrations by Kristina Kister. Perfect for fans of Rick Riordan, A. F. Steadman and Pari Thomson.
Vanya Vallen always felt like she didn't fit in. That is, until she joined the ranks of students at Auramere, an enchanted library and school where life is unexpected, exciting, and wonderful.
Months later, Vanya must deal with the fallout of her decision to become Master of the Wild Hunt. The power and growing influence of the Old One inhabiting her has incited fear and mistrust in her classmates and teachers, her mother has gone into hiding, and the perpetrator behind the attacks on the Monsoon Races is still at large.
Armed with an unstable power and support from some likely AND unlikely allies, Vanya must uncover the truth behind the plot against Auramere - a plot that may have devastating consequences for the entire magical world - before it's too late.
The second in the Vanya Vallen series, the first book Vanya and the Wild Hunt was Waterstones Children's Book of the Month in March 2026.
