Roofus is feeling very sad and lonely because he finds it difficult to make new friends. He doesn't look the same as everyone else, and the kids won't even give him a chance to play with them. His mother gives him a big hug and encourages him to be proud of who he is, teaching him that it is what is on the inside that matters… not how we look on the outside. It's important to be proud of who we are, and never judge others simply on appearance. Then one day, life changes for Roofus. He's almost jumping out of his skin because he is so excited!
