Scars Synopsis

In Zaphia's life there are two kinds of scars. The ones you can see on the outside- like the visible line she has running down her arm- and the ones no one can see - like heartaches and heartbreaks, hurts and hardships. Zaphia knows she can count on her tribe of family and friends especially when trouble comes her way with Roxy and her group of girls.

Inspired by S.E.Hinton's novel, The Outsiders, which was published 55 years ago, Scars is set in modern times. This powerful portrayal of family and friendship and the dynamic group of teens and young women, demonstrates the power of healing, love and forgiveness.
