In A Christmas Dream, the orphan, Jecca and her newfound Great Dane companion, Malaya, roam the town to discover what Christmas and the holiday spirit is all about. Enthralled by the adventure, she begins to understand the importance of love and family and the joy that Christmas brings. The story ends in Santa Claus dropping a scroll, which is her adoption certificate. She finally gets the family that she always dreamed of, hence, A Christmas Dream.
