After foiling the plot to poison the King of Ratnagar, Mimi ensured that her home, the Citadel of Dreams, remained a place of gentle healing and dream making. But the peace of the Citadel is threatened again when it is struck by the dark and dangerous Night Curse. Dream creatures are being poisoned and are attacking their humans, leading dream hunters being stuck in unwakeable nightmares. When Mimi's dream creature, Lalu, and her mother are affected she and her friend Rafi must travel to the Himalayan Mountains in order to find a cure and stop an old enemy who has returned for vengeance…
